By accessing or using DocSync ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.
2. Description of Service
DocSync is an AI-powered documentation automation platform that analyzes your code repositories and generates documentation. The Service includes features such as:
- Automated documentation generation from code analysis
- AI-powered semantic search of documentation
- Integration with GitHub repositories
- Automatic documentation updates on pull request merges
3. User Accounts
To use DocSync, you must create an account using GitHub OAuth. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Use the Service to analyze code you do not have rights to
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract our AI models
- Resell or redistribute the Service without permission
5. Repository Access
When you connect a repository to DocSync, you grant us permission to:
- Read your repository code for analysis purposes
- Write generated documentation to your repository
- Receive webhook notifications for pull request events
You represent that you have the authority to grant these permissions for any repository you connect.
6. Credits and Billing
DocSync operates on a credit-based system. By purchasing credits or subscribing to a plan, you agree to:
- Pay all fees associated with your selected plan
- Provide accurate billing information
- Accept that credits are non-refundable except where required by law
- Accept that unused monthly credits do not roll over (for subscription plans)
7. Intellectual Property
Your Content: You retain all rights to your code and any documentation you create. Documentation generated by DocSync based on your code is yours to use as you see fit.
Our Service: The DocSync platform, including our AI models, software, and branding, remains our intellectual property.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Generated documentation will be completely accurate
- The Service will meet all your specific requirements
You are responsible for reviewing generated documentation before use.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DocSync shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these terms. You may close your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination:
- Your access to the Service will be revoked
- Your account data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy
- Any remaining credits will be forfeited
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
